BRIEF HISTORY MOSQUE JAMI' AL-BAANIYAH

Al-Baaniyah" is the name of a mosque, which sentence in Village  Block Sawo bin Pendek.

The name "Al-Baaniyah" sustained name is taken from soil, named H. Banin. From this banin said mushalla name is taken. "Al-Baaniyah" means "builder." Which gives the name of Al-Baaniyah are: Drs. H. Abidin Nawawi

Why build mushalla in this place is the first time from promise  H. Banin and family worship during the pilgrimage to Mecca, promise H. Banin is a time when he and his family pilgrimage from Mecca to begin leaving for home, well there are no obstacles and hurdles all right, and survived, then he will establish a mushalla.

In order to implement promise, which wants to build a mushalla, H. Banin invite the community leaders who are in Block Sawo, Cipayung village to ask for blessing. So one night, there was discussion at the home of  H. Banin, which was attended by leaders and citizens of good Block Sawo of RT. 01 / RT. 02, and RT. 03. Present at the meeting that there are an estimated 30 people. Among the community leaders in attendance include: RW. Mahmud, Rasyid, Matalih, H. Yusuf, RT. Husin, RT. Syafrudin, H. Amsir, H. Subakri, H. Hamim, Misan etc.



The conclusion of deliberation, all figures Block Sawo approve the establishment of a mushalla in RT.03/RW.03 village Block Sawo Cipayung Depok. On that night also formed crews mushalla Development. As head of development is the Mr.Misan.
A day after meeting the leaders, then began the construction of mushalla, development funds in addition to H. Banin and his family, assisted by the local community and several donors. Many donors who provide aid to this mushalla is Mr Alwi. Mr. Alwi an Arab nation of Dubai. The presence of Mr. Alwi to Block Sawo, on a pre intention Mr. Sanjaya, a taxi driver who was hung at the Hotel Indonesia (HI), then met with Mr. Alwi and Mr. Sanjaya invited to the Hospitality Village Block Sawo. In establishing this mushalla, the pioneers always consult with K.H.M. Rainan, from Bridge oblique Cipayung. and a decisive direction is K.H.M Rainan destination own.
After finishing the construction of mushalla, then on Saturday, February 8, 1997 M / 1417 dated 1 Syawwal H, at the suggestion of H. Banin and approved by local leaders, trying to implement the 'Eid al-Fitr. 'Eid ul-Fitr this first is Imam Ustadz H. Subakri and that the preacher is Mr. H. Abidin Nawawi. 'Eid al-Fitr successfully implemented, then continued with' Eid al-Adha 1417 H. ie on the day of Thursday, 1417 H coincides with the 17 th of April 1997. Imam H. Junaedi and  that the preacher is Ustad H. Subakri.
Development of Al-Baaniyah mushalla not stop there, but continues to be expanded and held additing improvements and land area, which was now only 206 m2 area was 500 m2. Waqf land Masjid Jami 'Al-Baaniyah not only occupied the mosque and grounds only, but the road that connects between the mosque and Bonang Raya belonged to Al-Baaniyah, the extent of about 75 m2. The addition of this land area is from wakap citizens Sawo Block RT. 03 and from several donors.

On 26 th November 2004 1425 AH coinciding 13 Syawwal Prayers were held Friday prime implementation. Implementation premiere Friday at the Masjid Jami 'Al-Baaniyah was known and condoned by the Forum Ulama & Habib Betawi (FUHAB) with letter 011/SB/FUHAB/XII/04. 1. Pengajian fathers are held every Wednesday night
2. Pengajian mothers held on every Saturday afternoon (ba'da) Noon prayer
3. Pengajian youth who joined the Majlis Al-Risma Taklim held on Friday night, which was raised by KH Ansari HS.
4. Pengajian Al-Quran for primary and secondary level followed by the children of pre school and primary school level were held on each night (ba'da evening prayers until the time of Isa). This study was raised by H. Abidin Nawawi and Hj. Khairiyah. Earlier this recitation was held at the home of H. Subakri and as caregivers are Ustadz H. Subakri and Hj. Zulaiho binti H. Amsir.
5. Every Friday night held the reading Surah Yasin and reading of Ratib Al-Hadad, led by Ustadz M. Ali, SPdi

10. Qurban slaughterhouses which are held every 10 th of Dhu al-Hijjah, after doing pray 'Eid al-Adha. Sacrifice animal slaughtering activities, beginning in 1998, when Al-Baaniyah still a mushalla. Sacrifice of animal slaughtering activities since the first until now, never absent, even more and more. In 1430 H, which 2 cows and 6 goats, in the year 1431 H, which 1 head of cattle and 9 sheep.
